BDV EDU INTL (01082) announced its financial performance for the six months ended on December 31, 2024. The group achieved a revenue of HK$50.218 million, representing a decrease of 25.49% compared to the same period last year. The loss attributable to owners of the company narrowed to HK$11.566 million, a decrease of 29.7% compared to the previous year. Basic loss per share was 1.9 Hong Kong cents.
According to the announcement, during the period, the revenue generated by the private education services division is as follows: revenue from secondary school tutoring services decreased to approximately HK$73,000, a decrease of approximately 87.87% compared to around HK$602,000 obtained during the same period in 2023; and revenue from primary school tutoring services, art courses, exam preparation courses (including franchise income and STEAM education services) increased to around HK$16.32 million, an increase of approximately 9.02% compared to around HK$14.97 million earned during the same period in 2023.
