Morgan Stanley has released its latest index forecast report, predicting that the Hang Seng Index will reach 24,000 points by the end of this year under normal circumstances. The most bullish and bearish targets are 30,800 points and 16,800 points respectively. This represents an increase of 7,082 points or 29.86% and a decrease of 6,918 points or 29.17% from today's closing price of 23,718 points.
As for the MSCI China Index, the basic scenario target by the end of this year is 77 points, with the most bullish and bearish targets being 102 points and 56 points respectively. The basic scenario target for the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 Index is 4,200 points, with the most bullish and bearish targets being 5,000 points and 3,130 points respectively.
Morgan Stanley also mentioned that in the rising trend of diversification, they prefer Japan and have a more constructive view on the Chinese market. Additionally, the S&P 500 Index has a target of 6,500 points by the end of this year under normal circumstances, while the TOPIX has a target of 3,000 points.
