According to the Sigmaintell report, in February, strong demand is the main support point for maintaining a tight balance between supply and demand in the global LCD TV panel market. On the demand side, the delay in the implementation of tariff policies has led brands to maintain a steady procurement strategy. The United States has postponed imposing tariffs on Mexico until early March, but the future implementation details of the tariff policy still have uncertainties. Therefore, in the short term, brands need to maintain a controllable high inventory operation as a contingency plan for policy uncertainty, but the sense of urgency has eased. China's policy of trading in old for new is supporting Chinese brands' procurement demand, but the marginal effects of the policy may weaken. In addition, material shortages and rising panel costs are also driving brand inventory demand. Overall, panel demand in the first quarter remains strong. On the supply side, "on-demand production, controllable inventory, and large size" have become the confidence source of the panel market. Data from Sigmaintell shows that the tight balance between supply and demand combined with panel manufacturers' increased willingness to raise prices has led to a slight increase in panel prices in February. The performance of various sizes is as follows: 32", demand release in the second-tier market leads to a $1 increase in average price in January, with a projected increase in February. 50", supply constraints pushing supply and demand balance, a $1 increase in average price in January, with a projected increase in February. 55", gradual recovery in brand inventory demand, a small increase of $1 in average panel price in January, with a projected small increase of $1 in February. In terms of large sizes, continued strong demand and supply chain material influences led to a small increase of $2 in average panel price in January, with a projected increase of $2 in February.
