CH DISPLAY OPT (00334) announced on February 26, 2025, that CH DISPLAY OPT Huizhou (an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary) has entered into an asset transfer agreement with Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics. According to this agreement, Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics has agreed to sell, and CH DISPLAY OPT Huizhou has agreed to purchase equipment for a total of 10.7028 million RMB.
The equipment includes 34 devices used for producing LCD modules.
The Group has been leasing equipment and other various assets from Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics for producing LCD modules in its production facilities. In order to enhance the cost-effectiveness and capacity of its production line, the Group believes that increasing its capital investment to purchase equipment would be more beneficial. The equipment to be purchased will be used by the Group for its business operations. It is expected that the acquisition will help the Group meet its growing product demand and efficiently handle the increasing customer orders.
