HUANENG POWER (00902) announced that it has recently completed the issuance of the first tranche of super short-term financing bonds for the year 2025 ("this tranche of bonds"). The issuance amount of this tranche of bonds is RMB 2.5 billion, with a maturity of 95 days, a face value of RMB 100, and an issuance interest rate of 1.97%.
This tranche of bonds was underwritten by CBHB Limited and Bank of Hangzhou Limited as the lead underwriters, and was publicly issued in the national interbank bond market through bookbuilding and centralized distribution. The funds raised from this tranche of bonds will be used to supplement the company's operating funds, adjust its debt structure, repay bank loans, and repay bonds that are about to mature.
