Announcement by Zhonghang Shangda Superalloys (301522.SZ): The company's board of directors has approved the proposal for the investment and construction of an intelligent manufacturing project for the purification and smelting of aviation materials with an annual output of 80,000 tons of continuous casting process. The company plans to use its own and self-raised funds of 206 million RMB to upgrade and renovate the existing purification and smelting workshop and raw material workshop, with the aim of upgrading 80,000 tons out of the existing 120,000 tons of ingots produced by the mold casting process into vertical continuous casting ingots. The production process and scale of the original 40,000 tons of ingots produced by the mold casting process will remain unchanged. The project is expected to be completed in 2 years.
