DAPHNE INT'L (00210) announced that, based on the preliminary evaluation of the unaudited comprehensive management accounts of the Group as at December 31, 2024 and information currently available to the Board of Directors, it is expected that the Group's attributable profit to shareholders for the current year will be not less than approximately RMB 100 million. Compared to the attributable profit to shareholders of approximately RMB 62.4 million for the year ended December 31, 2023, this represents a significant increase of not less than approximately RMB 37.6 million or 60%.
The announcement stated that the expected increase in profit is mainly due to: an increase in operating income and gross profit resulting from an increase in licensing fees and product sales by the Group in the current year; reversal of provision for impairment loss on recoverable value-added tax in the current year; and recognition of deferred tax assets in the current year.
