China Satellite Communications (601698.SH) announced that on February 22, 2025 at 20:11, the ChinaSat 10R satellite was successfully launched into space using the Long March 3B enhanced carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellite entered its designated orbit as planned. After passing in-orbit testing, the ChinaSat 10R satellite will be handed over to China Satellite Communications Group Limited for operation and management.
It is reported that the ChinaSat 10R satellite uses the domestically developed DFH-4B enhanced satellite platform, mainly covering China, West Asia, South Asia, and parts of Southeast Asia. Building on the successful operation of the ChinaSat 10 satellite, the ChinaSat 10R satellite significantly enhances satellite resource capabilities to better meet the needs of existing users and provide efficient satellite network transmission services for countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative.
