Ganfeng Lithium Group (01772) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Litio Minera Argentina S.A. (referred to as "LMA") held a production ceremony for the first phase of the Mariana Lithium Salt Lake Project in Argentina on February 12, 2025 local time, marking the official start of production for the first phase of the Mariana Lithium Salt Lake Project.
The Mariana Lithium Salt Lake Project is located in the Salta Province of Argentina, with a total estimated lithium resource of approximately 8.121 million tons of LCE. After the official start of production of the annual 20,000 ton lithium chloride production line in the first phase of the Mariana Lithium Salt Lake Project, the company will actively accelerate the production capacity ramp-up progress of the project. With the gradual release of production capacity, the company will further optimize the supply and cost structure of its lithium resources, improve its profitability, and continuously enhance its core competitiveness in the global market.
