Analyst Guo Mingchi from Tianfeng stated that the overall supply of chips for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series gaming graphics cards will face issues. This will not only result in shortages of the already released RTX 5090/5080, but may also affect the subsequent products in this series. According to Guo Mingchi's speculation, the mass production of RTX 5070 and 5060 may be delayed from the originally scheduled February and March to March and April. Even if production can be carried out on time, shortages may occur due to insufficient quantity. Currently, the RTX 50 series graphics cards worldwide are facing a tight supply situation, and the inventory dilemma is unlikely to be eased in the short term. Many online retailers are no longer providing immediate stock, or are reducing user demand through pricing adjustments. A retailer in Japan even uses a lottery system for purchases, but still cannot prevent queues of hundreds of people. Furthermore, Guo Mingchi mentioned that Apple is exploring its humanoid and non-humanoid Siasun Robot & Automation project for its future smart home ecosystem. However, these internal products are still in the early Proof of Concept (POC) stage. While the industry debates on whether humanoid or non-humanoid design will prevail, supply chain research indicates that Apple is more concerned about how users interact with Siasun Robot & Automation in terms of sensing, rather than the outward appearance. This implies that sensor hardware and software are the core technologies. Given the current progress and the development cycle of large projects, Guo Mingchi believes that Apple's Siasun Robot & Automation may not achieve mass production until 2028 or later. However, Apple is willing to share some of its Siasun Robot & Automation research results during the early Proof of Concept stage, possibly to attract talent to join the project.
