The Silicon Industry Branch stated that this week, the first week after the holiday, the overall price of polycrystalline silicon market remained stable. The transaction price range for n-type recycled materials was 39,000-46,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 41,700 yuan/ton. The transaction price range for n-type granular silicon was 38,000-41,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 39,000 yuan/ton. The transaction price range for p-type polycrystalline silicon was 32,000-36,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 34,000 yuan/ton. As of now, most of the polycrystalline silicon enterprises in production in China are operating at reduced capacity.
At present, the market perception of leading enterprises and other enterprises is significantly different. It is expected that the market prices will continue to be in a deadlock for a period of time, and the divergence in transaction prices among enterprises is increasing.
This week, only a few leading polycrystalline silicon enterprises had bulk transactions, while the rest of the enterprises mainly focused on executing previous orders, with few new orders signed. This week, there were 6 companies that had transactions for n-type polycrystalline silicon. In terms of prices, only a few companies had some orders at higher prices, and the current price growth has not yet spread widely to other enterprises. It is difficult for enterprises to reach a consensus on price increases, and it will take some time to do so. Recently, companies have maintained stable prices with a slight increase in order volume. In addition, with the approaching listing of polycrystalline silicon futures, some futures traders have placed small orders for polycrystalline silicon, resulting in a slight increase in prices of 0.1-0.2 yuan/ton in the near term, which are not yet included in the current quotation.
This week, the signing prices of polycrystalline silicon enterprises remained basically unchanged, mainly due to the weakening of downstream procurement enthusiasm. Currently, the downstream procurement sentiment is still good, but after receiving a large number of goods at higher prices before the holiday, most are adopting a wait-and-see attitude, with only a few making rigid purchases.
