Lyon: Electronics sales during the New Year holiday period in Lyon have nearly doubled compared to the previous year. Companies such as AAC TECH (02018) and XIAOMI-W (01810) have all outperformed the market.
According to data from the State Administration of Taxation, sales of consumer electronics, including smartphones and smartwatches, nearly doubled year-on-year during the Lunar New Year holiday period, driven by national subsidy policies.
Lyon released a research report stating that AAC TECH (02018), BYD ELECTRONIC (00285), SUNNY OPTICAL (02382), XIAOMI-W (01810), and LENOVO GROUP (00992) are expected to continue benefiting from the national subsidy policy for trading in old appliances for new ones, and have all been given a "outperform market" rating.
The report mentioned that data from the State Administration of Taxation shows that during the lunar new year holiday, sales of consumer electronics products, including smartphones and smartwatches, nearly doubled year-on-year driven by the national subsidy policy. The bank pointed out that the policy also stimulated the consumption of household appliances during the lunar new year holiday, with sales of household appliances and audio-visual equipment increasing by 166.4% year-on-year, with TV sales increasing by 226.8%.
