Qiangyi Holdings has received "inquiries" about its IPO on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board, ranking ninth globally in the semiconductor probe card industry.

On January 22, Qiangyiban Semiconductor (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Qiangyi) applied for a change in the status of the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Science and Technology Innovation Board listing review to "inquiry received." China Securities Co., Ltd. is the sponsor institution, with plans to raise 1.5 billion yuan. The prospectus shows that Qiangyi is a high-tech enterprise focusing on serving semiconductor design and manufacturing. The company focuses on the research, design, production, and sales of wafer test core hardware probe cards. The company has professional design capabilities for probe cards and their core components, and is one of the few domestically owned manufacturers with independent MEMS probe manufacturing technology capable of mass production and sales of MEMS probe cards, breaking the monopoly of foreign manufacturers in the MEMS probe card field. Probe cards are "consumable" hardware used in the wafer testing stage of semiconductor production and are fundamental supporting components of the semiconductor industry. As an important node between wafer manufacturing and chip packaging, wafer testing can achieve chip defect detection and functional testing in the semiconductor product construction process, providing important guidance for chip design that directly affects chip yield and manufacturing costs. The probe card industry has long been dominated by foreign manufacturers, with significant potential for domestic substitution. With Qiangyi's self-developed and self-manufactured 2D MEMS probe cards, domestic manufacturers represented by the company have continuously increased market share in recent years. According to data from Yole, the company ranked ninth in the global semiconductor probe card industry in 2023, becoming the first domestic enterprise to enter the top ten global semiconductor probe card manufacturers in recent years. Based on data from TechInsights and the company's actual operating performance, the company is also ranked as the ninth largest manufacturer in the world in 2023, leading domestic manufacturers in the probe card market. The company competes directly with leading foreign probe card manufacturers in its business operations. The company has a wide range of probe card products, with multiple core technologies. As of the date of this prospectus, the company has 24 core technologies and has obtained 171 authorized patents, including 67 invention patents. Financially, in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, and January-June 2024, Qiangyi achieved operating income of approximately 110 million yuan, 254 million yuan, 354 million yuan, and 198 million yuan; during the same period, the net profit was -13.3584 million yuan, 15.6224 million yuan, 18.6577 million yuan, and 40.8475 million yuan.
