According to Sensor Tower's App Intelligence data, "Last War: Survival" jumped four spots in December 2024 to become the highest-grossing mobile game globally, with "Pokmon TCG Pocket" coming in second. Following closely behind are "MONOPOLY GO!", "Royal Match", and "Roblox" ranking fourth and fifth respectively. In December 2024, global consumer spending on mobile games through the App Store and Google Play reached approximately $6.98 billion, a 5.1% increase from the previous month. The United States remains the highest-grossing market for mobile game revenue globally, accounting for approximately $2.2 billion or 31.8% of global revenue. The Chinese iOS market ranks second, representing 15.6% of total revenue, followed closely by the Japanese market also at 15.6%.

According to Sensor Tower's App Intelligence data, FirstFun's "Last War: Survival" ranked first in global mobile game revenue in December 2024. This achievement was partly attributed to the Christmas event launched on December 23, which introduced holiday-themed gameplay and exclusive rewards. In addition, the publisher invested heavily in advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, significantly increasing user acquisition efforts. These measures together drove player engagement and spending to unprecedented levels in the game's in-app purchase revenue, achieving its highest weekly performance ever.
"Pokmon TCG Pocket," the mobile version of this iconic collectible card game, ranked second in global revenue after a successful launch at the end of November 2024. The "Mystery Island" update on December 17 introduced exclusive Pokmon card packs and limited-time rewards, sparking enthusiasm for in-app purchases among players. Subsequently, the "Massive Appearance Event" on December 26 provided players with more opportunities to battle specific Pokmon, once again driving engagement and revenue growth in the game. So far, these successfully executed strategies have generated over $390 million in total global revenue for the game, with significant contributions from the markets of Japan, the United States, France, Taiwan (China), and Germany.

India accounted for 42% of new downloads, followed by Indonesia with 17.8% and Brazil with 6.3%. The "Winterland: Aurora" event launched on December 4 brought a wintry theme to the Bermuda map, and the new character "Koda" added a festive atmosphere to the game.
"Block Blast!" is a block puzzle game published by Hungry Studio, ranking second in global downloads in December 2024. Since its launch in March 2022, it has accumulated a total of 367 million downloads. The game is popular in markets such as the United States, India, Brazil, Indonesia, and the Philippines, attracting casual players with its minimalistic flat art style and board game theme. In 2024, Hungry Studio's user acquisition strategy primarily relied on social media, with Instagram and TikTok playing a key role. According to Sensor Tower's Pathmatics ad insights, TikTok accounted for over 90% of the game's ad impressions in the United States alone in December, demonstrating TikTok's significant role in reaching core audiences and driving game popularity.

India ranked first among major markets with a total of 647 million downloads, accounting for 15.5% of the global downloads. The United States ranked second with 8.2%, and Brazil ranked third with 7.8%.
In December, two highly anticipated mobile games - "Squid Game: Unleashed" and "Infinite Warmth" entered the top ten in download growth rankings.
