China Construction Machinery Industry Association: In December, sales of various types of excavators reached 19,369 units, an increase of 16% year-on-year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on the main manufacturing enterprises of excavators, in December 2024, a total of 19,369 excavators of all kinds were sold, an increase of 16% year-on-year. Of these, 9,312 were sold domestically, an increase of 22.1% year-on-year, and 10,057 were exported, an increase of 10.8% year-on-year. In 2024, a total of 201,131 excavators were sold, an increase of 3.13% year-on-year. Of these, 100,543 were sold domestically, an increase of 11.7% year-on-year, and 100,588 were exported, a decrease of 4.24% year-on-year. In December 2024, 9 electric excavators were sold (8 below 6 tons and 1 in the 18.5 to 28.5 ton range). According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on the main manufacturing enterprises of loaders, a total of 9,410 loaders of all kinds were sold in December 2024, a decrease of 0.08% year-on-year. Of these, 4,501 were sold domestically, a decrease of 19.6% year-on-year, and 4,909 were exported, an increase of 28.5% year-on-year. In 2024, a total of 108,209 loaders of all kinds were sold, an increase of 4.14% year-on-year. Of these, 54,326 were sold domestically, a decrease of 3.94% year-on-year, and 53,883 were exported, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year. In December 2024, 854 electric loaders were sold (2 in the 3-ton range, 722 in the 5-ton range, 115 in the 6-ton range, and 15 in the 7-ton range).
