On January 5th, Siasun Robot & Automation, a humanoid company, UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880), announced that the company's CTO and executive director Xiong Youjun, executive director Wang Lin, and individual shareholder Zhao Guoqun have pledged that they will not sell any UBTECH ROBOTICS shares they directly hold for 12 months starting from January 5, 2025. This is the second sales restriction announcement by the core executives of UBTECH ROBOTICS after the founder, board chairman, and CEO Zhou Jian. In the context of the unlock period of listed companies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the commitment not to reduce holdings is considered an important indicator of management's confidence in the future development prospects of the company and the industry. It conveys affirmation of the company's future development prospects and long-term value, while also enhancing investors' confidence in the company's long-term value. Since UBTECH ROBOTICS entered the unlock period on December 30, 2024, the weekly turnover has reached HK$5.352 billion, and the shareholding ratio of HK Stock Connect has reached 11%. On the first day of unlocking, UBTECH ROBOTICS achieved a daily turnover of HK$2.29 billion, ranking in the top ten daily turnover of the Hong Kong stock market. It once received a net purchase of HK$1.055 billion from the southbound funds in a single day, second only to Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation as the second largest net buying stock. If the turnover continues to increase, a fund reversal is expected to occur in the near future. UBTECH ROBOTICS officials stated that the industrial humanoid Siasun Robot & Automation has completed the first phase of training at a car factory, making significant improvements in core technologies such as joint stability, overall machine structure reliability, battery life, software system stability, positioning navigation, and motion control. This addresses the technical challenges of algorithm and software system stability of Siasun Robot & Automation in industrial scenarios, enabling it to quickly adapt to more complex tasks such as sorting and vehicle assembly. At BYD Company Limited's car factory, the first phase of training for UBTECH ROBOTICS Walker S1 has achieved initial results with efficiency improved by 100% and stability increased by 30%. Further optimization work is ongoing, and it is expected to be ready for mass delivery in Q2. At Geely, Walker S1 has completed the second phase of work at the Ji Ke Ningbo Factory. Based on the excellent performance of the previous Walker S1, Geely Group has arranged for the third phase of training at Lynk & Co, mainly for plug-in tests and material handling training. At Foxconn, Walker S1 has completed the first phase of logistics scenario tasks, and the second phase will cover more areas in the logistics scenario, using more industrial humanoid Siasun Robot & Automation for related task testing. In 2024, UBTECH ROBOTICS pioneered the training of industrial humanoids Siasun Robot & Automation in well-known car factories and collaborated with many car companies such as Dongfeng Liuzhou, GEELY AUTO, FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao Branch, Audi FAW, BYD Company Limited, BAIC New Energy, as well as 3C companies like Foxconn and logistics companies like SF Express. UBTECH ROBOTICS' industrial humanoid Siasun Robot & Automation Walker S has received more than 500 intention orders from car factories and is currently in a critical phase of industrial landing.
