CH GENERAL EDU (02175) announced that the Board of Directors, after considering the urgent need to complete the audit of the company's 2022 annual performance and related costs, has requested Ernst & Young LLP (Ernst & Young) to resign as the company's auditors. Following this communication, Ernst & Young has resigned as the company's auditors, and the resignation will take effect from 1st September 2023.
Based on the recommendation of the Board's Audit Committee, it has been decided to appoint Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Certified Public Accountants LLP as the company's new auditors. The appointment will take effect after Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Certified Public Accountants completes its internal appointment procedures and will fill the temporary vacancy left by Ernst & Young's resignation. The term of appointment will be until the end of the next annual general meeting of shareholders.
