TCL ELECTRONICS (01070): Huizhou TCL Mobile and TCL Yuxin Intelligent Travel have signed a equipment transfer agreement.

TCL ELECTRONICS (01070) announced that on December 27, 2024 (after trading hours), TCL Mobile in Huizhou (as the seller) (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) entered into an agreement to transfer equipment with TCL Yuxin Zhixing (as the buyer). TCL Mobile in Huizhou agreed to sell and TCL Yuxin Zhixing agreed to purchase production line equipment for a price of 18 million RMB. The sale provides a good opportunity for TCL Mobile in Huizhou to realize cash flow by selling well-used production line equipment after nearly 10 years, while ensuring the normal operation of the production line and supporting its business and strategic development. Considering the mature production capacity layout of the group domestically and overseas, the group and TCL Mobile in Huizhou will still be able to meet their business needs after the completion of the sale. Additionally, a total of 19.49 million Hong Kong dollars will be recorded as income from the sale, bringing profits to TCL Mobile in Huizhou and the group.
