On Tuesday, Tesla, Inc. (TSLA.US) opened more than 3% higher at $444.35. On the news front, on December 24th, Tesla, Inc.'s Chinese website launched a "purchase new car, immediate discount on final payment" promotion policy. Those who choose to purchase a Model Y new car can enjoy an immediate discount of 10,000 yuan on the final payment, which can be stacked with the "5-year 0% interest financial plan" until January 31, 2025. Tesla, Inc.'s Chinese website indicates that the price for the rear-wheel drive version and long-range all-wheel drive of the Model Y starts at 239,900 yuan, and buyers can also apply for the 5-year 0% interest financial plan. This means that the monthly installment starts at only 2,667 yuan. Tesla, Inc. stated that the Model Y is now at its lowest price in history, and the lowest price globally.
