Announcement from Aluminum Corporation Of China (601600.SH): In accordance with the company's strategic deployment of building a green and low-carbon "New Chinalco", the company has reorganized and adjusted the planned transfer of assets and equity. It plans to leverage the professional advantage of utilizing existing recycled resources at Qingdao Light Metal to create an integrated research, production, and sales base for the recycling industry. At the same time, by establishing a joint venture company with Chinalco High-End Manufacturing in Yunnan, the company will jointly invest in the production line of billets, and strategically plan for the downstream utilization of green aluminum, in order to jointly create a green aluminum industry chain and promote the company's aluminum industry towards green and low-carbon transformation. Based on the aforementioned reasons, following consultation and agreement with Chinalco High-End Manufacturing, and approval from the company's 28th board meeting of the eighth session held on November 19, 2024, the company will terminate the transfer of equity in Qingdao Light Metal and related assets and equity in Yunnan Aluminium to Chinalco High-End Manufacturing.
