Sinoma International Engineering (600970.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Suzhou Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd., recently signed a contract with MASS Iraq Co. For Renewable Energy Production (referred to as the "owner") for the EPC project of 1000MWCECEP Solar Energy in Kut, Iraq. The contract amount is 351.5 million dollars.
It is reported that the project is located in Kut City, Wasit Province, Iraq, and includes the EPC engineering of 1000MWCECEP Solar Energy, including design, equipment and material supply, engineering construction, installation, testing, and commissioning. The contract is expected to come into effect after the signing of relevant technical documents. The contract period is estimated to be no less than 21 months, starting from the effective date of the contract.
