Cathay Pacific (00293) announced to its employees in a letter that starting from January 1st next year, eligible Hong Kong employees will receive an average salary increase of 3.8%. As for employees in other regions, salary adjustments will be determined by the local management team.

Cathay Pacific had previously announced that this year, Hong Kong employees will receive a bonus equivalent to one month's salary, which will be distributed on January 7th, 2025. For non-resident Hong Kong employees, Cathay Pacific will make a separate announcement through the local team. Huang Weitong, the director of human resources at Cathay Pacific, stated in an internal memo that with the implementation of the third runway system at the airport, the group will focus on future development opportunities and is confident in moving forward to new heights together with employees, striving to become one of the "world's best service brands."
