SHUANG YUN HLDG (01706) announces that the Singapore High Court has issued winding-up orders for the group's subsidiaries, Double-Trans Pte Ltd. and Samco Civil Engineering Pte Ltd., on September 8, 2023, and September 21, 2023 respectively. Since then, the group has ceased all business operations and financial records, and has not resumed or planned to resume business due to the ongoing compulsory liquidation process.
The appointed liquidators for both subsidiaries are Deloitte & Touche LLP. So far, the liquidators are continuing their efforts to handle the affairs of the subsidiaries in liquidation, including but not limited to asset realization, ascertaining liabilities, and investigating the causes of the companies' collapse. As of today, the company does not have a specific plan to resume its stock trading, so it has not started preparing financial statements or taking any other steps that are typically part of a recovery proposal. Announcements regarding any resumption plans will be made at the appropriate time.
In addition, the company's shares remain suspended.
