LEGENDARY EDU (08195) announced that on November 15, 2024, the company signed a cooperation agreement with Hong Kong Victoria Harbour Education Group Limited (Victoria Harbour Education) regarding the provision of training services for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) curriculum in Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China (China). Under the cooperation agreement, Victoria Harbour Education will utilize its resources and experience to provide HKDSE training courses in Guangdong Province, China. According to the cooperation agreement, the company will be responsible for HKDSE training course tutor management and recruitment, as well as education course design and implementation for Victoria Harbour Education and its affiliated platforms. Victoria Harbour Education will be responsible for other operational and compliance matters, including but not limited to course venue arrangements (including the three well-known schools operated by Victoria Harbour Education and its affiliates, namely Guangzhou Jinan University Hong Kong-Macau Children's School (designated and approved as one of the two HKDSE test schools in China for 2024, as well as the HKDSE Mainland test center), Dongguan Jinan University Hong Kong-Macau Children's School, and Foshan Jinan University Hong Kong-Macau Children's School, collectively referred to as Jinan University Hong Kong-Macau Children's School), coordinating teaching and student recruitment. The cooperation will be conducted on an exclusive basis, and without the written consent of the other party, neither party may engage in related businesses under the cooperation agreement in Guangdong Province, China with other competing entities during the cooperation period. The cooperation agreement will be valid for three months after signing and can be extended after both parties agree and acknowledge the results of the cooperation. The company intends to seize the cooperation opportunity and expand the coverage of its private supplementary education business to various parts of China. Since the introduction of the "Greater Bay Area Development Outline Plan for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" in 2019, there has been an increasing demand for educational services for Hong Kong citizens' children studying in China. With the increasing number of schools offering Hong Kong education courses in China to meet the growing demand, and the increasing recognition of the HKDSE qualification by global higher education institutions as an attractive alternative pathway to pursue higher education, the company is confident in the growing popularity of the HKDSE pathway among Chinese students in China.
