PRODUCTIVE TECH (00650) announced that as of September 30, 2024, the company's semiconductor equipment business has made significant progress:
1. The 6-12 inch single wafer cleaning equipment CUBE has further matured, with production volume steadily increasing. Contracts for CUBE prototypes with new customers have been converted into formal orders, and the final acceptance has been completed; the previous fiscal year's pre-acceptance orders have also been completed with over 80% of payments received.
2. The 12-inch high-productivity single wafer cleaning equipment OCTOPUS has achieved breakthroughs in both equipment production and advanced process development. OCTOPUS equipment at a key customer site has been converted into a formal order after installation and commissioning and is about to undergo acceptance; meanwhile, the advanced high-temperature SPM cleaning process has completed customer-approved marathon testing.
3. In terms of new order acquisition, the company continues to explore opportunities with top and mid-tier customers in the market and seize opportunities for customer expansion. Repeat orders have been obtained from customers during this reporting period, and there is a rich backlog of intention orders and orders under negotiation.
The above-mentioned orders have partially confirmed revenue.
The company will continue to acquire new orders in the semiconductor and CECEP Solar Energy equipment business, and shorten the acceptance cycle through product performance improvement and focusing on high-quality customers. In the semiconductor field, the company will focus on expanding the installation base by targeting high-quality mid-tier customers through the CUBE platform (mainly used for backside cleaning process) and the OCTOPUS platform (with a focus on high-temperature SPM applications, reaching up to 190C, which is at the industry-leading level), while advancing advanced process applications for top-tier customers. In the CECEP Solar Energy field, future expansion will focus on back contact (BC) process, where the company has mature technology and product advantages. Additionally, the company will continue to optimize costs to expand profit margins. The company believes that the above strategies will help ensure the growth in both quantity and quality of revenue, ultimately leading to profitability.
