Canalys: How is the competition landscape among smartphone processor manufacturers in the third quarter?

Canalys article stated that in the third quarter of 2024, data from smartphone processor manufacturers (based on smartphone shipment volume) shows that Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) remains the top processor manufacturer with a 41% market share in terms of smartphone shipment revenue. MediaTek maintained its leading position in the smartphone processor market in the third quarter, with a shipment volume of 1.193 billion units and a market share of 38%. Hisilicon was the fastest growing smartphone processor manufacturer, with a 211% year-on-year growth. This growth was mainly attributed to the successful introduction of Kirin SoC in Huawei's mid-range smartphone products, significantly boosting Hisilicon's shipment volume. Flagship AI phone SoCs continued to dominate in terms of value. In the third quarter, the top three processor models based on smartphone shipment revenue were all flagship AI phone SoCs, collectively generating $54 billion in smartphone shipment revenue.
