Evergrande (03333) released an announcement that, in accordance with the court order issued on November 11, 2024, the court has instructed to cancel the hearing scheduled for 10:00 am on November 14, 2024, and to postpone the application for a later date (with one day reserved) for the hearing. The court also stated that the hearing date is likely not to be earlier than February 20, 2025.
According to the court order issued on November 5, 2024, the court instructed that if any person holding economic rights in any bonds, promissory notes, or similar documents (for which the company is responsible) (ultimate holders) wishes to speak at the hearing, then the ultimate holder also has the right to attend the hearing and speak. If more than 3 ultimate holders express a desire to speak at the hearing, further instructions from the court will be sought. On November 7, 2024, the notice of this instruction (the second notice) was sent to the ultimate holders known to the liquidator.
In addition, trading remains suspended.
