Some of the most famous sell-side institutions on Wall Street have given their views, expecting the year-end target points for the S&P 500 index to range from a low of 4200 to a high of 6100.
As the third quarter comes to an end, investors are now looking ahead to the outlook for the fourth quarter of the US stock market and the movement of the benchmark S&P 500 index by the end of this year.
There are various opinions in the market, and some of Wall Street's most famous sell-side institutions have also given their views, with year-end target points for the S&P 500 index ranging from as low as 4200 to as high as 6100. As of Monday's close, the S&P 500 index closed at 5718.57, with a year-to-date increase of nearly 20%, currently hovering near its all-time high.
