Yunnan Energy New Material (002812.SZ) announced that at the 31st meeting of the 5th Board of Directors held on September 23, 2024, the proposal for the holding subsidiary to invest in the construction of a lithium battery separator film project in Malaysia was approved. The company agreed to allow its holding subsidiary, Shanghai Enjie New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shanghai Enjie"), to invest in and construct a lithium battery separator film project in Malaysia through a newly established subsidiary. The project is planned to have a production capacity of approximately 1 billion square meters per year, with a total expected investment of about 2 billion RMB.
