Hubei Wanrun New Energy Technology (688275.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Hubei Wanrun New Material Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Wanrun New Material") has established Wanrun New Energy Technology (USA) Limited in Delaware in the United States through its wholly-owned subsidiary Wanrun New Energy Technology Ltd. Wanrun New Energy Technology Ltd. ultimately established Wrestore Technology LLC in South Carolina, USA through Wanrun Group Corporation, to carry out the "Hubei Wanrun New Energy Technology Shanxi Guoxin Energy Corporation Cathode Material and Industrialization R&D Center Project".
It is reported that the project plans to produce 50,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate annually, with construction being carried out in phases. The first phase plans to build a production capacity of 9,000 tons/year of lithium iron phosphate. The total investment amount for this project is 168 million US dollars, subject to the actual investment amount in the end.
