CITIC SEC (06030) provides guarantees for the issuance of 0.3 billion US dollars of European commercial paper by its subsidiary company.

CITIC SEC (06030) announced that its wholly-owned overseas subsidiary, CITIC SEC International Limited (hereinafter referred to as CITIC SEC International), has established an offshore European Commercial Paper Program (hereinafter referred to as the Commercial Paper Program) on May 12, 2023, with a maximum principal amount of 3 billion US dollars (or equivalent in other currencies), guaranteed by the company. On September 16, 2024, the issuer or guarantor, CITIC Securities Finance MTN Co., Ltd, issued a note under the Commercial Paper Program with a issuance amount of 0.3 billion US dollars. After the above issuance, the total principal amount of notes issued by the issuer under the Commercial Paper Program amounts to approximately 3.38 billion US dollars.
