Joyvio Food Co., Ltd. (300268.SZ) announced that its Chilean subsidiary Australis Mar S.A. ("AMSA" or "mortgagor") signed a "Biological Assets Cooperation Agreement" with feed supplier Vitapro Chile S.A. ("Vitapro" or "mortgagee"). According to the agreement, AMSA pledged its biological assets as collateral to Vitapro in order to obtain longer payment terms and higher credit limits.
After the mortgage, some of the company's biological assets are restricted, but the company's payment terms with suppliers are extended and credit limits are increased. This significantly alleviates the company's liquidity pressure and ensures a stable supply of feed for the company's farming operations.
