CAAM: In August, the national sales of commercial vehicles were 271,900 units, a year-on-year decrease of 12.18%.

On September 14, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released an overview of the overall sales of commercial vehicles in China for August 2024. According to statistics, the overall sales of commercial vehicles (wholesale) in August 2024 were 271,900 units, a year-on-year decrease of 12.18% and a month-on-month increase of 1.38%. Among them, truck sales were 231,900 units, a year-on-year decrease of 14.16% and a month-on-month decrease of 0.24%; bus sales were 40,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 1.33% and a month-on-month increase of 11.90%. From January to August 2024, the cumulative sales of commercial vehicles nationwide (wholesale) were 2.6086 million units, an increase of 1.61% year-on-year. Among them, cumulative truck sales were 2.2786 million units, an increase of 0.40% year-on-year; cumulative bus sales were 330,100 units, an increase of 10.86% year-on-year.
