On September 5, the official website of the China Securities Regulatory Commission showed that the first batch of ten CSI A500 ETFs collectively received approval for submission. The public fund institutions that submitted the applications include Huatai Bairui Fund, Morgan Asset Management, Fuguo Fund, Zhaoshang Fund, Taikang Fund, Invesco Great Wall Fund, Jiashi Fund, Guotai Fund, Nanfang Fund, and YinHua Fund. At the same time, Taikang Fund also submitted an application for the CSI A500 ETF feeder fund.
It is reported that the CSI A500 index selects 500 securities with large market capitalization and good liquidity from various industries as the index sample, reflecting the overall performance of the most representative listed company securities in each industry. The compilation method is consistent with the A50 index, with balanced industry distribution, while introducing elements such as ESG sustainable investment concepts and interconnection screening.
Industry insiders expect that as an important broad-based ETF in the market, the first batch of CSI A500 ETFs are expected to be quickly approved, issued, and listed, providing convenient investment tools for investors to participate in index investment and potentially introducing more incremental funds into the market.
