In response to the comprehensive entry into Taobao, WeChat Pay responded that the functionality compatibility with Taobao platform merchants is currently being opened, please pay attention to the Taobao platform announcement for the specific online time.
On the afternoon of September 4th, Taobao released a "Consultation on the Addition of WeChat Payment Capability to Taobao", stating that in order to enhance the shopping experience for consumers, Taobao plans to add WeChat payment capability. Based on this new service, Taobao intends to make adjustments to its platform rules. In response to the full integration into Taobao, WeChat payment stated that compatibility with Taobao platform merchants is currently being opened, and the specific launch time will be announced in Taobao's platform notice.
