The statistical monthly report released by the China Association of Listed Companies shows that as of July 31, 2024, there were a total of 5366 listed companies in the domestic stock market, with 2268, 2849, and 249 companies listed on the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges respectively. In terms of stock type statistics, there were 5135 A-share companies, 10 B-share companies, and 221 companies with multiple share types such as A+B and A+H. In terms of controlling ownership, state-owned and non-state-owned companies accounted for 27% and 73% respectively; the manufacturing, information transmission, software and information technology services, and wholesale and retail industries were the top three industries in terms of the number of listed companies. Jiangsu, Zhejiang (excluding Ningbo), and Beijing had 693, 586, and 472 listed companies, respectively, ranking among the top three regions in terms of the number of companies. In terms of provincial division, Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu had 877, 708, and 693 listed companies, accounting for 42.45% of the total listed companies. In July, there were 6 new IPOs in the domestic market with a total fundraising amount of 44.42 billion yuan; there were no companies transferring from the OTC market to the main board, and 14 companies were delisted. According to statistics, there are currently 1719 Chinese concept companies listed on major overseas markets.
