Houthi armed group says Saudi-led coalition launched 61 airstrikes on Yemen in past 24 hours

On the evening of the 5th local time, the Yemeni Houthi armed group issued a statement saying that in the past 24 hours, the Saudi-led coalition launched 61 airstrikes on Yemen, causing dozens of civilian casualties, most of them women and children; the airstrikes affected the Yemeni capital Sanaa and the provinces of Al Jawf, Taiz, Saada, Marib, Lahij, Al Dhale'e, Ibb, Al Hudaydah and Hajjah. The statement also said that since the new round of military escalation, the total number of airstrikes and missile attacks launched by the Saudi side has reached 4,197. The Saudi side has not yet responded to this.
