Recently, Zhejiang held a briefing on intellectual property protection in emerging fields, which reported the province's achievements in IP protection in emerging fields: Zhejiang's comprehensive intellectual property development index has risen to 2nd among all provinces and autonomous regions in China, high-value invention patents in strategic emerging industries have reached 132,000, a total of 6,036 integrated circuit layout design certificates have been issued, and the number of data intellectual property registrations has reached 34,100. The province closely focuses on the pain points of protection needs in emerging fields and prioritizes five areas of work: serving as a "booster" for frontier innovation, activating the "fuel depot" of artificial intelligence, weaving a dense "service network" for emerging fields, safeguarding the "security line" for innovation achievements, and building a solid "protective embankment" for enterprises going global.
