France will deploy 70,000 police and gendarmes to respond to demonstrations.

On November 4 local time, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez announced that during the nationwide demonstrations on November 5, 70,000 police officers and gendarmes will be deployed, with the security force configuration exactly the same as that of October 31.
