Chinese research team releases open-source RNA sequence foundation model

The reporter learned from the University of Science and Technology of China that a team led by Professor Zhou Shaohua and Distinguished Research Fellow Xiong Peng has released an open-source RNA sequence foundation model, structRFM, which improves the model's performance on a range of downstream tasks in RNA structure prediction and function inference and is expected to support AI-driven scientific research, understanding of biological mechanisms, drug discovery, and more. On the 5th, the related research results were published in the international academic journal Nature.
