Starting November 3 local time, public and private primary and secondary schools across Mexico officially implemented restrictions on mobile phone use. According to regulations from Mexico's Ministry of Public Education, students are in principle not allowed to use mobile phones, smartwatches, and other personal electronic devices during class and recess, but exceptions may be made for special needs such as teaching activities, emergencies, health, or disability assistance. At the high school level, individual schools will formulate specific management rules.
