Hong Kong Land Registry: Total value of building sales and purchase agreements in October at HKD 50 billion.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that on November 3, the Hong Kong Land Registry published statistics for October 2026. In October, a total of 5,795 sale and purchase agreements for all building units were received for registration with the Land Registry (down 10.0% from September and down 19.4% compared with October last year). Calculated on a 12-month moving average, the number of sale and purchase agreements for building units in October was 7,566 (down 1.5% from September and up 16.7% compared with October last year). The total consideration of sale and purchase agreements for building units in October was HK$50 billion (down 6.5% from September and down 13.6% compared with October last year).
