In response to owners' questions that the Starship 7's infotainment chip does not match its promotional claims, Geely Galaxy recently issued an official statement saying that it has launched a special assessment regarding infotainment chip configurations and upgrade requests, and is offering first owners an infotainment extended warranty and exclusive repeat-purchase benefits. Geely Galaxy said that in response to some owners' requests to upgrade the EO2 cockpit platform to the EO4 cockpit platform, it has launched a special technical assessment, and if feasible, will subsequently announce the upgrade content, fee policy and protection of rights and interests. In addition, Geely Galaxy has introduced additional benefits for owners of the 2025 Geely Galaxy Starship 7, including Benefit 1: a 5-year extension of the infotainment warranty. On top of the existing warranty benefits, the infotainment-related components of the 2025 Geely Galaxy Starship 7 will receive an additional 5-year warranty extension; Benefit 2: exclusive repeat-purchase benefits for 2025 Geely Galaxy Starship 7 owners. Owners of the 2025 Geely Galaxy Starship 7 will receive a RMB 10,000 voucher for the final payment on a trade-in of the same brand, as well as a RMB 3,000 voucher for the final payment on a trade-in or additional purchase applicable across Geely Automobile Group.
