The "Mao Zedong" locomotive has achieved 13 million kilometers of continuous safe operation.

On October 30, the Fengtai Locomotive Depot of China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. held a ceremony commemorating the "Mao Zedong" locomotive achieving 13 million kilometers of safe operation, equivalent to circling the Earth's equator 324 times. The "Mao Zedong" locomotive currently handles traction duties for the K7709/K7710 passenger train service from Beijing Fengtai to Handan, Hebei.
