Beijing: Participating in high-level international energy cooperation

The Beijing Municipal People's Government has issued the "Beijing Municipality Plan for a New Energy System During the 15th Five-Year Plan Period." It states that Beijing will proactively serve the overall interests of energy diplomacy, deeply participate in energy cooperation platforms such as APEC, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the SCO, and coordinate the hosting of events such as international energy cooperation summit forums and expositions to deepen industry exchanges, showcase innovation achievements, and expand cooperation space. Beijing will actively participate in the formulation of international standards and encourage leading enterprises to participate in the formulation of international standards in fields where they have advantages and in pilot programs for international green certification. Support will be given to enterprises to expand international exchange channels, deepen technical cooperation and industrial collaboration, and enhance their level of international operations.
