Zhitong Finance APP news, Jiemei Technology (002859.SZ) announced that the company plans to invest 2.684 billion yuan to build the "annual production of 40,000 tons of optical-grade BOPET film and annual production of 768 million square meters of high-end release film project", introducing high-speed ultra-wide precision coating production lines, optical functional biaxially oriented polyester film production lines, high-end polyester optical film slitting machines and other advanced domestic and foreign production equipment. The project is planned to have a construction period of 3 years, from November 2026 to October 2029, and is expected to gradually begin production in mid-2028.
