Recently, a person from a public fund institution told reporters that some of the company's segregated account products have been liquidated successively, and these products are basically QDII segregated account products. The person disclosed that this move is related to the company's adjustment of the proportion of QDII investment quotas used for public fund and segregated account products. At the beginning of the year, a number of fund companies received notices requiring them to adjust the proportion of QDII investment quotas used for public fund products and segregated account products, and to adjust the QDII investment quota used for segregated accounts to within 20% before the end of 2027. Around this rule, fund companies have been accelerating the pace of QDII segregated account adjustments. Some industry insiders analyzed that whether the QDII investment quota for segregated accounts is reduced to within 20% may affect subsequent quota applications. "We did not obtain a new batch of QDII quotas some time ago, and the product department believes this is largely related to the fact that the reduction work has not yet been completed," a product department person from a Beijing fund company told reporters. Of course, many companies' original allocation proportions of QDII investment quotas already comply with the relevant regulations. "Our company's original quota for segregated accounts was already below 20%, so there is currently no related action," a fund manager told reporters. "QDII quotas are inherently somewhat scarce. From a medium- and long-term perspective, allowing more public fund investors to enjoy the convenience of diversified investment is in line with the investment philosophy of inclusive finance."
