Europe and America shopping season sees Huaqiangbei flooded with orders.

Entering October, overseas merchants have been stocking up for the year-end shopping season in Europe and the US, and combined with the Canton Fair, Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei recently ushered in a procurement peak. A reporter's visit found that pocket cameras that are easy to carry and panoramic cameras suitable for sports shooting are favored by overseas buyers. From everyday photography to outdoor sports, diverse shooting needs have also driven sales of niche products. Some merchants said that during the Canton Fair, the number of overseas buyers here increased significantly, and store revenue more than doubled compared with ordinary days. The procurement boom in Huaqiangbei has also extended to cross-border e-commerce. As year-end shopping season promotions in Europe and the US approach, Shenzhen cross-border e-commerce companies are stepping up stocking of overseas warehouses while launching new products and adjusting prices to win more overseas orders. Shenzhen Customs data show that imports and exports in the first three quarters reached 4.65 trillion yuan, up 38.8% year on year, already exceeding the full-year total of last year. Among them, exports of advantageous products such as 3D printers and digital cameras grew by 46.5% combined.
