Amazon (AMZN.O) CEO Andy Jassy said that driven by growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, Amazon Web Services' (AWS) cloud computing capacity is essentially sold out through the end of 2027, with a large number of orders already booked into 2028. In a video podcast with Andreessen Horowitz co-founder Ben Horowitz and general partner Erik Torenberg, Jassy said Amazon is striving to meet the relentless demand from AI labs and enterprises.
