French media: Trump suffers setback in lawsuit against BBC

According to an AFP report on October 22, U.S. President Trump suffered a setback on the 22nd in his defamation lawsuit against the BBC, as a judge ordered him to provide sworn testimony to the BBC by December 11. The report said the federal judge in Miami granted the BBC's request, after the broadcaster had for months accused the U.S. president of evading accountability. BBC lawyers said that "the plaintiff's testimony in a defamation case" is important to the defense.
